Simple Devices was started by three founders who were each running lean, (mostly) Mac teams. We spent too much time setting up laptops, troubleshooting issues, managing software updates, and onboarding new hires onto devices we barely had time to configure — instead of fundraising, building product, and growing our teams.
The problems we faced:
- Founders becoming accidental IT managers
- Offboarding creating security risks and operational chaos
- Overbuilt enterprise MSP packages designed for companies twice our size
- Windows-focused providers who don't truly understand Apple environments
- No time to ship, configure, or recover laptops
After enough conversations about the same frustrating problem, we stopped talking and started solving. Simple Devices was created for modern, remote teams who don't need a corporate IT department — just their laptops handled.
We saw bloated MSPs layering on tools, contracts, and headcount. We went the opposite direction: we use automation and AI behind the scenes so we can move faster and give you more real human attention where it matters.
